SproutControl User Agreement

Welcome to the services provided by SproutControl. Please read and fully understand the following terms. By downloading, installing, or using the SproutControl application, you are deemed to have fully agreed to all the terms of this agreement, including any modifications we make to the terms. If you disagree with any terms of this agreement, please cease using the application.

1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 When a user uses a specific service we provide, they should adhere to the guidelines and rules related to that service. All guidelines and rules constitute a part of this user agreement.

1.2 If a user objects to any terms of this agreement, please cease using all the services we provide.

1.3 Users are required to comply with all terms of this agreement and use the services we provide lawfully and reasonably.

2. Description of Service

SproutControl is a parental control application for iOS devices that utilizes Apple’s Screen Time API to help parents manage and monitor their children’s device usage. The application allows parents to:

• View and manage app usage on their children’s devices
• Set usage restrictions and time limits
• Monitor screen time activity

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Parental Consent and Responsibility: SproutControl is designed for parents and legal guardians to manage their children’s device usage. By using this application, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child whose device is being managed, or that you have obtained proper consent from the parent or legal guardian.

3.2 Appropriate Use: You agree to use SproutControl only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of parental control features complies with applicable laws and respects the privacy rights of all individuals involved.

3.3 Device Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the devices you manage through SproutControl. We recommend using device security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) and keeping iOS updated.

3.4 You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the application
• Use the application for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass or circumvent the application’s security features

4. Privacy and Data

4.1 Local Processing: SproutControl is a standalone application. All data, including Screen Time data and app settings, is processed and stored locally on your device. We do not upload, collect, or store any user data on external servers.

4.2 No Data Collection: SproutControl does not collect personal information, usage analytics, crash data, or any other form of user data.

4.3 Screen Time Data: All Screen Time data is accessed through Apple’s Screen Time API and remains encrypted on your device. We do not access, store, or transmit any Screen Time data.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 All intellectual property rights in SproutControl, including but not limited to the application design, code, graphics, and user interface, are owned by pptribe.

5.2 Users may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the application without explicit written permission from pptribe.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

6.1 SproutControl is provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

6.2 We do not guarantee that:

• The application will meet all your specific requirements
• The application will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• Any errors in the application will be corrected

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, pptribe and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Any loss of data or content
• Interruption of service
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the application
• Compatibility issues with future iOS versions

8. Termination

You may stop using SproutControl at any time. These Terms remain in effect while you use the application.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the application after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes through the application.
